We adhere to the CDC and AAP guidelines for childhood vaccines and provide vaccines and vaccine counseling to our patients with questions. We recognize that there is a new form of apprehension regarding vaccines since the pandemic and we patiently work with families to encourage restarting the vaccine process. Although we discourage usage of alternative vaccine schedules, we will work with families seeking vaccines in their own timing. These include routine vaccines from birth through high school. We offer seasonal flu vaccines and CoVID vaccines as well.
Mission Pediatrics has always been all about quality care. After reviewing the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American College of Immunization Practices (ACIP), we have determined that vaccines are both necessary and mandatory to save lives and protect children, and they do not cause autism. Even before the pandemic, we have seen that we have the responsibility to address the growing problem of unvaccinated children. Our physicians believe that vaccination benefits outweigh the risks. We firmly believe that internet “research” does not replace a physician’s medical degree, and we hope you can respect that. We are committed to provide factual and honest information to our patients.
